I am experienced in machine learning, supervised and unsupervised algorithms and use data visualization techniques to present the results. I use SQL, R, Python, D3.js and Tableau for my data projects.

About me!
My name is Nickson Bor, a Kenyan data scientist with a background in Actuarial Science.
In January of 2016 after my graduation I began a Dairy farm and like any other start-up, I faced a series of challenges that forced me to seek consultation from an old folk who had a successful farm. The only secret he had was on record keeping and analysis data. At first I was skeptical about idea but after some self-reflection I decided to give it a try and there is where my passion and interest in data science began.
I was committed to learning everything I could about machine learning, data science, and the tech industry. I took series of online courses in data science from Stanford University, Google and John Hopkins University through Edx and Coursera platforms.
Towards the end of 2016 I got my first consultancy service for Digital marketing analytics at Emmadunnes company limited .In 2017 I was employed at Onward Africa as a Data analyst where I currently work as a Lead data Engineer.
Getting insights out of data is something that I really like. Data visualization and machine learning are some techniques that I am using to achieve this. I am a big open source believer since I think with sharing solutions we can achieve a lot more as a community.
